Emerald Trove, Book 15: Post XLIX:
Behold, the votes have been certified, sealing Joe Biden’s victory. However, Trump has apparently come to accept the Truce offered to him by Eric. For the condition to accept the Truce was that Trump cease to contest the election results, which say that Biden won. Doing so greatly aids in the Republican efforts to keep control over the Senate in the January runoff elections for the two Senate seats belonging to Georgia. And while Trump’s legal team might seem to continue to attempt to attempt to overturn what is impossible to overturn, he has now come to his senses and is realizing the importance of the Republican strategy in surviving the four year Biden term. And it involves maintaining the sight of the goal and working as a team. For it is important for the smooth functioning of any democracy and free society that those who choose to partake in elections that they recognize the results of those elections regardless of who is the winner. An election does not become valid because it says someone you wanted to win has won it. Rather, an election is valid because it was conducted lawfully and every vote lawfully cast was counted.
The election of Biden is now irreversible. The votes cast are certified. Even if there were some legal loophole or strategy left by which the vote could be overturned, doing so or seeking to do so would be counterproductive to the smooth and well ordered functioning of our democratic and free systems. For law and order does not stand on its own. Rather it stands on the trust and faith that those entrusted with fulfilling and enforcing the law will faithfully carry out their duties to see to it that the law and order are followed. Law and order do not rest on any one man. Rather, they rest on a principle. Hence, law and order are not determined by what a man says, or what a man wants, but what a principle says and what a principle requires.
He who is entrusted with great power is not entrusted with power because he is owed power, or because he is the greatest person in the world or in world history. And law and order are not plastic substances that he is free to mold into whatever shape he so desires. Rather, law and order govern by a principle that stands no matter who is President and no matter what party is their affiliation. Law and order is not free to be changed by the whim of any man, nor by the whim of the people, but must conform to what is just and right, and all be based on the principle upon which rests all laws and the order of the land.
Therefore, a man is not free to reject what the law requires of him because he does not want to follow that law. Only should the law be unjust, because it stands against the principle upon which all law must be based, may any person justly reject a law and not abide by it. For example, should a commander command his troops to commit genocide against an enemy people, that order is in violation of the principle that genocide is unlawful in every occasion. And the act of blindly following such an order is a war crime. The soldier who commits genocide is not found free of guilt by the excuse that he was simply following orders. For the principle upon which all law and order is based is above and overrides the will of any man. This teaching is not new and unique to this post, for it is written also in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. And those who commit genocide not only sin mortally, but by their very acts they are also automatically excommunicated from the Catholic Church Amen.
Hence, should any president of any nation command his military to commit an act of genocide, his military forces, from the generals down to the privates are required and compelled by principle to reject that order. Who it is who is making that order cannot overrule the principle that genocide is always wrong. Therefore, whosoever commits genocide commits a war crime, regardless of whether he was carrying out someone else’s orders or acting on his own initiative. It is not possible to make genocide legal. For such an act is in violation of the principle that cannot be overridden. Remember that law is based on principle. And principles are discovered by men, not created by men. God defines His principles in the Holy Scriptures. Man did not make them up and write them in there on his own.
Now someone points out that in the Old Testament, which is Holy Scripture and God breathed, as is also the New Testament, that in the ancient texts, God frequently commands genocide and punishes severely those who disobey His commands, particularly in the Books of Moses and the Books of Kings and other early works. And thus, how does this square with Catholic teaching that commands the exact opposite? Lord, do explain this great discrepancy. And I am listening to whatever You say, O’ Lord and Master.
Lord, Father Dave Heney, Pastor at my parish, Saint Bruno Catholic Church, uses the solution to this paradox by simply denying the divine origins and sources of the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament, arguing that the older books of the Holy Bible are not entirely God breathed. But I believe that You, O’ Lord, have a different teaching, one that maintains both the full holiness of all the scriptures, along with maintaining the full validity of Roman Catholic teaching. So what sayest Thou?
I say this, lord Azurite. Your knowledge of the Holy Scriptures is vast. For you have studied the Holy Bible throughout your entire life, even though you only officially became a Christian at the age of 22 in the summer of 1992, and a fully practicing Roman Catholic at the age of 31 on Easter Vigil of 2002. Hence, you are a man who has a firm grasp of all scriptural teachings. And you yourself are aware that the Holy Bible is not in full agreement with itself on all details nor in all facts. Neither is it in full agreement with all known details and facts known to historians nor to the body of well established and accepted scientific knowledge. For I did not inspire My writers of Holy Scripture to be prophetically accurate to historical and scientific details, nor to precisely agree with the writings of all the other prophets that I also inspired who wrote about the same things. For example, was the fish that swallowed Jonah really a fish or was it a whale? The casual modern reader might interpret that it must have been a whale. But I counter saying a whale’s higher metabolism, due to being a mammal, would have resulted in Jonah’s death should he have been swallowed by one. However. a large fish, whose metabolism is much slower, could indeed swallow a man in one part of the ocean and then vomit him out in another part of the ocean, with the man surviving, breathing the air trapped in the fish’s belly, during that journey. For there are such cases on record of large fish caught by fishermen with a live human being found in its belly. These cases are rare, but there are nevertheless several such documented cases in modern history. Hence, science would agree with the account of Jonah that not only was the creature that swallowed him definitely most likely a large fish, but that the basis of the story is indeed a scientific possibility.
Even the crossing made by Moses through the Red Sea on dry land, with water to the right and to the left is also a proven scientific possibility, which is explainable by the presence of temporary a sand bridge that formed by a strong wind pushing the waters south out of the Gulf of Suez, which he crossed. Any sudden reversal of wind could certainly flood and drown the people still on that sand bridge, washing both the sand bridge and the people away in the current, as the waters that were blown to the south are suddenly released. Remember that this earth is a dangerous place to call home. So easy is it for a man to die in any occasion that he can only maintain his sanity by trusting everything to God.
Furthermore, the burning bush that was not consumed by the fire is explainable by that fire of not being of natural substance, but of supernatural substance. But here, science is not yet able to keep up. For science currently only acknowledges that which it can measure or sample. Therefore, the supernatural realm is currently beyond the reaches of conventional science. At this point in history, only theologians venture into the study of the supernatural realms. There currently is not yet an accepted scientific discipline or study on angelic and demonic spiritual life forms, which are living beings composed of only spiritual substances. But there nevertheless is already a word that will be used to describe this future branch of science when it forms: Pneumatology, the study of spirits or spiritual beings. Expect pneumatology to become a hot area of scientific research and study in the next ages of human history to come, as science catches up with theology. Amen.
Much of the Holy Bible becomes confusing to the reader who is not also a student of pneumatology. For the very nature claimed of the Holy Scriptures, from within the scriptures themselves, that they are God breathed (2 Timothy 3:16-17), can only be truly understood from an understanding of pneumatology and of the nature of Holy Spirit Himself. Thus, when you hear the teaching that a certain scriptural passage is not meant to be interpreted literally, such is not a codeword indicating that it is false, but rather, such means that this passage is only understandable from a spiritual perspective. That something is God breathed indicates that its true meaning is hidden, and contained within the Spirit, and can only be unpacked by a pneumatological analysis of the Holy Word. For the Holy Bible is a spiritual work. And only by reading the scriptures from a spiritual perspective will the reader profit from his attempt to understand that series of books. Understood this way, the common Author of all the books of the Holy Bible can then be seen and appreciated.
Hence, to understand the original question, the commands made by God to his people to commit genocide, as written in the Old Testament, must be understood spiritually and from the ancient context that existed back then, rather than from the post crucifixion perspective which is a reality of a new earth and new heavens, in which all things have been radically reordered and changed. Hence, Father Dave Heney is correct to realize that Christianity has truly changed the way in which people think. But it goes deeper than that. Christianity is not merely a revolutionary new philosophical way of thinking and viewing the world. Rather, the Crucifixion, followed by the Coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, marks a distinctly new earth and new heavens that has come to be. And thus, the New Testament writers are correct in saying that the old order is passing away.
Furthermore, the Catholic teachings on purity are not arbitrary lines drawn in the sand. Hence, the universal requirement that Mankind be pure is not to be dismissed as an impossible ideal to live by, but rather, is to be understood as among the new requirements that God has imposed upon men and women who wish to enter into eternal life and to merit to live in this new earth and heavens that have already come to exist in a hidden form already in this world. For Jesus did say, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” (Luke 17:20-21). Heaven, therefore, is not a place you go to, but a state, a condition, and a discipline that you must enter into and find while you are here, while you live in this earthly life. Such is why it is said that one must enter into heaven while one still lives in this world, for it is impossible for any man to do any work on his soul after he has passed that veil called death, from which there is no return to this world. Amen.
Death is the door, like one’s birth from one’s mother’s womb, that one can never return back to from whence one has come. The miracles of resurrections within this world are only temporary returns made by the election of God the Son. But the Resurrection to glory, which Jesus underwent on the third day of his death, is not a return to this world, but an entrance into the eternity of the new heavens and the new earth. Jesus walks among us unseen. But he is truly here and present. But we do not see him because our eyes are made of flesh and He is made of substance beyond the flesh of this world. Jesus has flesh, but his flesh is beyond this world, and hence, cannot be seen or felt, unless He manifests himself, as He did due to the unbelief of the doubting Apostle Thomas, that he may believe. (John 20:27).
And now someone asks, why did Jesus do that for Thomas, but not for me? The reason is because you have the full body of the Holy Bible to give to you the evidence you need to believe. But Thomas had no such Bible to read about Jesus in. For the New Testament was to be series of books to come to be written down after his time was to pass. And Thomas was an Apostle. He was to be sent to teach the many. And how can he teach any unless his faith is made rock solid. Note that Thomas came to believe by merely seeing and hearing Jesus. He never actually had to touch him to believe. (John 20:28-29). And to this Jesus says, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed.” Therefore, that Jesus does not do for you as He did for Thomas is a blessing. You should truly see it as such. For lesser, far lesser would be the reward that you would receive in heaven if you believed in Jesus only after it was proven to you by you seeing and hearing as Thomas saw and heard. Amen.
Now, Eric, this post is coming to its conclusion. Note to President Donald John Trump, the vow made by God through Eric will not be forgotten. You will not leave office without friends in high places. And Eric will pray his rosaries now for the sake of the runoff elections in Georgia. Amen. I Who Am have assured Eric that the Republicans will triumph in Georgia and keep both seats. Now publish this post, lord Eric, for it is complete. Amen.
